I have be~n informed by the Electrical Inspecto~ that at oresent there a~e seven electrical contractors in the city who have ~aid fo~ the c-~rent year's license tax at said $101.00 each. I am also informed by ~. Ma,~he~s that none of the signatures on the petition appear on the list off electric~ contractors hs~ving license in the Oity of ports- mouth. I might also mention that one off the petitioners a sho~t time ago made a zes~ case of o~ lice~e tax in the 0o~t of Hustings and the Judge ~endered a decision in favo~ the Gity. ~ view of the Zo~egoing, I =eoo~end that no change be made in this license tax at the p~esent time."
