<br /> has determined the property to be exempt f~m taxation and has ordered t~t it be taken
<br /> the Land Book for the year 1933. Under the~ above facts~ I believe that the property is ex-
<br /> empt and as it has been ~-' = ~ ~' ~ City Councm! to pro-~a~e property ouro~sea a
<br /> co.any entitled to exemption during the year of its purchase, I recommend that the s~mn of
<br /> $5~.79 of the 1932 taxes be relieved.'

<br />Dear Sirs:- There is charged against the property 1135 A Street taxes for the year 1923,
<br />assessed in the name of Virginia Brittinghem.
<br /> This property was purchased on May 1st of that year by the Park View Methodist
<br />Ohurch, and has since that time been used as a parsonage. The principal s~nouut of the taxes
<br />is $~8.20.
<br /> As this property has been used for church purposes and is exempt from taxation,
<br /> aoa~ns~ this p~operty be released.

<br /> I, herewith, beg permission to have the taxes on the property of J.H. Boyd es-
<br />tate, located at 1521-1525-1529-1533 Putter Street, removed for.the following reason:
<br /> In 1930 a fire partly destroyed two of the houses, which were co~oletely d~-
<br />molished before the end of the year; by thieves, carting the'remaining timber away for fuel.
<br /> In !931 the remaining two houses were partly destroyed in the same manner and in
<br />March 1932 were rased completely.
