We have appropriated, this year, for Schools, an item of $2,~00.00 for
interest and sinking fund on a loan of $50,000.00 the School Board secured from the ~tate. The
6th - ~Durlng the last six months, we have made considerable improvements in
the streets, at very little cost to the City, but we have about reached our limit in the bud-
get, and we have some additional street work that must be done,
The City. Engineer and I have made an estimate which will require an ~o-
propriation, at this time, of $$,~00.00 for material. I want to do this work while we can get
the benefit of W.P.A. labor~ without cost to the City~ and I so recommend.~
for the property, and that the proper officers of the City be authorized to sign the same.
