The properties are <br />generally bounded by George Washington <br />Highway, Paradise Creek, Victory Boulevard and <br />the City boundary line with the City of <br />Chesapeake. <br /> <br /> Motion by Mr. Robinett, and seconded by Mr. Griffin, to <br />concur with the reco~unendation of the Planning Commission <br />that Z-96-03 be approved, and was adopted by unanimous vote <br />on first reading. <br /> <br />(d) z-96-04 <br /> <br />WEST NORFOLK NEIGHBORHOOD - Application of the <br />City of Portsmouth to rezone 4404 and 4408 <br />West Norfolk Road from Commercial C-2 to <br />Commercial C-1. (Voice Vote) <br /> <br /> Motion by Mr. Pitts, and seconded by Mr. Martin, to <br />concur with the recommendation of the Planning Commission <br />that Z-96-04 be approved, and was adopted by unanimous vote <br />on first reading. <br /> <br />(e) GHP-96-02 <br /> <br />CHURCHLAND WEST NEIGHBORHOOD Application of <br />Towne Development Corporation for 92 dwelling <br />units on the west side of Tejo Lane at the <br />corporate City limit. (Voice Vote) <br /> <br />Stuart Bonnell, 6006 Churchland Boulevard, provided <br />information on the application. <br /> <br /> Motion by Mr. Clemons, and seconded by Mr. Robinett, to <br />concur with the recommendation of the Planning Commission <br />that GHP-96-02 be approved, and was adopted by a vote of <br />6-0-1 (Abstained: Martin - previously represented applicant) <br />on first reading. <br /> <br />On motion meeting was adjourned at 8:07 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVED - <br /> <br />Gloria O.
