<br />service before the Pension Rei~und Act went into effect."

<br />Motion of l~fr. Grimes to concur in tko I~anager~s recommendation, was adopted.

<br /> 3rd - .The l~anager recommended that Henry Karp ~be refunded $Y.50 on houses 700-
<br />and 710 Fifth St., houses having been demolished.

<br />Motion of Mr. Hutchins to concur in the Manager's recommendation, was adopted.

<br />PRESCRIBING.REGULATIONS RELATIVE TO T HE PARKING OF VEHICLES UPON
<br />SUCH PUBLIC STI~J~ETS AND HIGR~/AYS; PROVIDING FOP. THE !NSTALLAT~ON
<br />OPERATION, MAINTENANCE, SUPERVISION, REGUI~TIO~, AND CONTROL OF ~nE
<br />USE OF PARKING METERS; DEFINING- AND ~OVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISP2~EI~
<br />OF PARKING METER ZONES UPON CERTAIN PUBLIC STREETS ~ND HIGR%'AYS;

<br />Motion of Mr. Hutchins to add the following to Section 12, was adopted:
<br />
<br /> ~Each such police officer shall attach to such vehicle a notice to
<br />the owner thereof, that such vehicle has been parked in violation of a
<br />provision of this ordinance and instructing such owner to report to the
<br />Clerk to Civil and Police Court of the City, in regard to such violation.
<br />Each such ovmer may, within twenty four hours of the time when such no ~
<br />rice was attached to such vehicle, pay to such Clerk to Civil and Police
<br />Court of the City, a penalty for and in full satisfaction of ~uch viola-
<br />tion, the sum of One Dollar t$1.OO) for each hour, or fraction thereof,
<br />during w?~ ch such vehicle occupied such parking space in violation of
<br />any of the provision~ of this ordinance. The failure of such o-~mer to
<br />make such payment to the Clerk to Civil and Police Court within said
<br />twenty four hours, shell render such owner subject to t he penalities
<br />hereinafter provided for the violation of the provisions of this ordi ~
<br />nance, s
