<br />containing approximately 23 acres and bordering on an arm or branch of Lake Kilby. This land is
<br />needed to protect the watershed end a portion of it will be flooded when the da~ is raised two

<br /> We have made arrangements to get a deed for this property in exchange
<br />for some timber on parts of tracts ll and 12 of the Lake Kilby property, said tracts adjoiningi
<br />lands of 0,B.Benton, o~mer of this property.
<br /> The timber involved is of about the same value of the land and we wouldI
<br />not be able to sell to anyone except Ar. Benton~ unless he would grant permission to cross his
<br />lands for hauling purposes. Also the ~uantity involved is too small, for a logging company to
<br />co~sidero
<br />I have discussed this with Mr. Barclay and he ~ays it is in order to
<br />h~adle by this method, that is, ~o trade the standing timber for the acreage as above outlined.
