We have been recognizing as you know through these parties the most of those that are called, and we are doing a good Job of it up to the present, but as the mumberslmcrease tbs..expense necessarily increases, and most of the ci.vlc_organizatlons have . helpe~se far,. so.that ~t present we have met the cost, except of about $250.~O. But tO con tinue, we are forced ~o call on you and others ~ohelp on this account. At present, the Board of. Supervisors of Norfolk Oounty are con - tributlng $1OO.OO per month out of a fund called:Reserve for Contingencies, the United Service O~ganization has agreed to an amount of $10~.O0 per month, other organizations have agreed to againmake contributions but with all this the number of men still increases and we mast have additional money ~o continue. With the above in mind, we are asking that the 0ity contribute aboU~.$2OO. OO toward-our presen~ standing debt and equally as much as Norfolk 0ounty, or more, each month toward this very worthy recognizing of our own citizens who are responding to the call of their country.
