<br /> 2nd - The Manager recommended that the request to establish a dance hall in the
<br />Parker Hosiery Mill building, corner Ninth Ave. and High St. be no~ granted.

<br /> Motion of Mr. Wilson to concur in t, he.'Manager!s recommendation, was adopted.
<br />
<br /> 3rd "The Oity has received its new~5 foot ladder from the Peter PI rsch Com-
<br />pany and a public demonstration will be given at anearly date. The City should be proud of
<br />this very modern piece of fire p~otection~fcr-its citizens.
<br /> The City has also ~e~eYved a'.new "bull-dozer", which will be a splendid
<br />m~h~ to facilitate our street and other public service works.
<br /> Our new public Health ~uilding haebeen completed and Dr. Cameron ex -
<br />pects to move in within the next ten days. ~The public will be invited to make an inspection
<br />at a later date when all additional equipments~ A4d supplies have arrived."
