Owens, Clty Manager. <br /> <br />~e r~ <br /> <br /> Minutes of regular meeting held ~arch 13th and called meeting of March 16th <br />were read and approved. <br /> <br />The following communications from the City Manager were read: <br /> <br /> 1st - ,In a comparison of incomes inparking meter revenues, I would like <br />to submit the following interesting facts: <br /> <br /> Total Number of Average per day <br />Parking Meters Collections Meters per meter <br />Jan. & Feb. 19~3 $ 3,628.20 240 3145 <br /> <br />On motion ordered filed. <br /> <br /> 2n~ - "Pursuant to a recommendation by Chief of Police O. B. Dunn, ! am <br />appointing Eartin Su!'livku as a temporary Police Officer for sixty days effective March 16th, <br />1945." <br /> <br />On motion ordered filed. <br /> <br />recorded: <br /> <br />3rd - ~'I am in receip~ of the following letter which ~ would ~ike to have <br /> <br />'The member~ of the Portsmouth Education Association wish t o <br /> express their thanks for the recent raise i n t cachets, sala~ <br /> rios. <br /> Very truly yours, <br /> <br />Lelia L.
