John W. Parker became the <br />highest bidder for the lot on Washing~onSt. at the price of $265.00 and James Crocker as-agent <br />for Lydia L. Crocker and James W. Crocker, became the highest ~idder for the two lots at Pied- <br />mont Heights at the price of $200.00. Due notice of the sale was given by advertisement for <br />ten days in the portsmouth Star. Lot 18 is to be conveyed ~o Js~es W.
