'Bain. <br /> <br />the Public School Board from <br /> <br />The following letter was received: <br /> <br /> "I am handing yo~ herewith my resignation as aTrustee of the Portsmouth School <br />Board from the Second District, same to be effective as of June 30~ 194~. <br /> It has been a real pleasure and an honor to have had the privilege of servi~ <br />on the School Board for the past 14 years from Marshall Ward. It has been my ~rivilege to serve <br />as president of this distinguished group for ten years. We have a find representative group of <br />citizens serving our school system as zrus~ee~, and they are doing their best to give to our <br />City one of the finest educational systems in our State.
