<br />of Social~Agencies, on whieh I would like to report as fellows:

<br /> for the creation of an Adolescent Hemming Chamber to re-
<br /> place the Juvenile Court, in the present ~a~ket Building.
<br /> 2. The City of Norfolk, City of Portsmouth~d other areas
<br /> a~e now n~king a c~nbined study to provide adequate facili-
<br /> ties for juveniles.
<br /> 3. We do not. know the need of a nttrsing facility as under the
<br /> 01d Age. Pension Laws, adequate funds a ~e pro~ided to place
<br /> people in nursing hemes. ~
<br /> 4. The City has an agreement with Richardson and Fester whereby
<br /> all indigent persons a~e taken ca~e of at the City's expense.~

<br />ever, the Government is withdrawing its assistance, and the Commonwealth of Virginia, through
<br />its Department of Health, is planning to continue to'operate this center.
<br /> During the year 1~48, we referred 418 indigent venerial pa -
