Wilder, the City deducted from the purchase p~ice the taxes and interest through April 30th, <br />1945, and in addition thereto collected advertising fees amounting to ninety, foU~ dollars, <br />which were not a pa~t of the agreement that Sykes e~ud Wilder had with the City. Upon inves- <br />ti~gation it was found that this property had never been advertised for ss~e, and therefore the <br />ninety-four dollars was improperly deducted by the City from the sale price and was not in <br />accordance with the temms of their agreement with the City. <br /> On.February 15th, of this year, a-letter was addressed to you~ <br />Honorable Body by Nr. Fred Wilder calling you~ attention t o this matter and also requesting <br />not only the rettt~n o f the nir~ty-~our dollars by interest on the s?les price from the time of, <br />the appropriation until the time of payment to them and that accordzng t.o the agreement that <br />the five per cent penalty collected by the City was not in aocerdsm, ce with the agreement. To <br />this letter of Februamy 15th, neither Mr. Wilder nor mr. Sykes have received a reply. Not- <br />withstanding the various amouuts that Nessrs.
