A..Hunt, Superintendent of Schools, asked that the a - <br />mount for schools be increased to the request made by the School Board. <br /> <br /> Mr. Jerome Cart aud ~iss Helen Kirkpatrick asked for ~!l,000.00 for the <br />Aibrary. <br /> ~o other spoke ~d the Chair closed the meeting. <br /> <br /> On motion of Er. Sturte%~nt, the p~ivi!ege of the floor was gra~ted l~. <br />Harris, who spoke for tho Embassy ~!ilk Company and presented ~r. Flarity, a representative of <br />the Embassy ~i!k Company~ <br /> <br />Eotion of Er. Ho~a~d to refer same to the City Eanage~, was adopte~ <br /> <br />The Planning sad Zoning Com~nission reported as follows: <br /> <br />be made <br /> <br /> "The Planning and Zoning Co~uission recommended the followLug changes to <br />on the p~oposed new Zoning Ordinance: <br /> 1. That the property bo~amded by the Airline Turnpike, Ninth <br /> Aven~.e, King Street and Sixth Avenue be rezoned on the pro - <br /> posed new Zoning map for light industrial use. <br /> <br />This recommend~tion was adopted by the Ptanr~ing Commission at a meet_ng <br /> <br />held November 6th, !9~7. <br /> <br />Tours very truly, <br /> <br />G.C.
