<br />gaged the stadium for ~arch ~0th, to be used in connection with the advertisingprogram o f the
<br />Industrial Fund.
<br /> The program could not b e presented and the stadi'~n was ~ot used;
<br />Dr. Dern~y, ~irector of Public ~elfare, requests that }~r. Enos be refunded the ~5.00 deposit
<br />made by him. I understand there were no other ~ppiicants for the stadi~ for Earch 20th, and
<br />the City did not lose the rental of the property~
<br /> I recommend that the refund be made.e

<br />ally adopted by the Schgol Board~at its m~eting on. Friday night, April ~nd. The muo~t of
<br />funds needed from the Cmty of Portsmouth ms estimaved to be ~101,0Bg.
<br /> This does not include the amount to be paid for equipment in the var-
<br />ious school buildings which the City of Portsmouth is required to purchase from the Norfolk
<br />County school Boa~d, the prise of which has not yet been definitely fixed.
