<br />destrians and there is a roadway leading into the cemetery from "B~' Street, which is being used
<br />at night by motorists to park within the cemetery.
<br /> I recom~end an appropriation0f $~00.00 for a fence of ap -
<br />proximately ~00 feet, to b e placed on the north side of this cemetery. This ~ould eliminate the
<br />present nuisance of pedestrians and motorists entering the cemetery at night."

<br /> Motion o f Er. Henderson to concur in the Eanager's recommendation
<br />and that an appropriation of $800.00 for said purpose, be placed on its First reading, was
<br />adopted.

<br /> ~h - "The City Engineer wishes to purchase a Diesel crane for
<br />unloading cars of road material aud for excavating d~ain ditches in the tidal swamps in the
<br />newly annexed area. The cost of this machine is ~pproximately $1J,b00. and it should serve the
<br />City for ten years and has many uses which will result in considerable labor saving.
