<br />Star' and by mailed notices, bids were opened today at noon for the sale of ~250,000.00 of
<br />Ferry Bonds, to be dated April 1st, 19~9~ Tb~e follo¥~ng bids were received:

<br /> C.F. Cassetl & Company, Charlottesville, Va. 251,665.00
<br /> Scott, Homer & Mason, Lynchburg, Va. 256,427.77

<br /> ~ason, Hagan, inc., Rigb~mond, Va. 255,~40,00
<br /> The highest bid was submitted by Scott, Homer & ~ason, Inc.~
<br />and is set forth as follows:

<br />to the purchaser upon receipt of the amount of its
