<br />V~[EREAS, this voting place &s not in any way located conveniently
<br />to the mass of registered voters in this large ward,and
<br />V~REAS, considerable inconvenience to voters reaching the voting
<br />place has been the okUperience of the past, and
<br />~%~EREAS, long lines of voters at the single voting place in the
<br />past, moving very slowly, have caused many persons to lose valuable
<br />time from other necessary duties, and
<br />'~fHEREAS, the closing of the polls in the past, according to law,
<br />has resulted in many such persons being denied their right to vote
<br />while yet waiting in line, and
<br />?YHEREAS, the present voting place is in the extreme northeast corner
