The following letter was received from the Department of Welfare and Institutions, which was ordered filed: ~Tl~e lock-up of the City of Portsmouth was inspected by this Division on July 1st, 19~9. A report on this inspection is submitted herewith. Efforts to make the best use of the available lock-up facilities are appreciated. It iR hoped that adequate facilities will b e provided. Assuring you o f the continued interest of this Division a nd our will- ingness to be of assistance to you in any way we can, concerning your lock-up problems, I am, Yours very truly, R.~.
