ton to~s ecure prices on the lots opposite the Westhaven Public School. These lots have been
used for the past thirt? seven yea~s as a playground for this school, and I mm under the im-
pression that the Counczl felt it would be advisable to purchase this property for recreation
purposes. We understand that prices have been secured on twenty-seven lots which the
purchase at $250.00 each, plus taxes for 1948 and 1949, whichhave been paid by the owner.
There are five other lots on which we have not been able to secure prices, but we believe
can be obtained at the same price per lot.
If it is the desire of the Council to create this recreati
