Lo ~illiams, President~ Americ~ Federation of State, Co~uty ~ud ~un~c~p~l ~uployees~ was read aud~ on motion of ~r. Howard, referred to the City Hanager: "in ~rder ~o Lmqorove working conditior~ and bring better satisfaction t o employees of the City v~no work on an hourly basis and who have no s ec~ity of a pension in *lueir old age ~ud who lose pay for time lost due to sickness, we respectfully requesv serious consideration of the following points: 1. That these employees receive p ay for lost time d~.e ~o bonafide cases of sickness. That some pension plan be adopted ~at will give securityto these employees in their old age~ 3. That these employees be granted fourteen days annual vacation ea~ year. 4. That a committee of City o fficials be appointed Zo meet with a con~aittee of our organization who reoresent these employees, to work out and discuss the details of ~his requests~ adopted: ~r.
