Deaemoe_ 20th. At a called meeting of the City Counci!~ held on December 20th~ 19~0~ there were present: Chamber 12th, 19~0. 12th, !9~0. Fred ~.Duke~ Frank N,Bilisoly~ George L. Grime~ Carl C. Houghton~Jr.~ James N. Howard~ R. Irvine Smith~ E. Robie Sturtevant~ C. E. Warren~ N. Earl Weiseman~ Pearle J. Wilson~ I. G~ Vass~ City Manager and R. C Barclay~ City Attorney. The foll~,~ing call for the meeting was read: "Please attend a called meeting of the City Council~ in the Council at 6:30 P.M.~ on Wednesday~ December 20th~ 19~0~ to consider the follo~ng: 1st -~ Ordinance entitled 'An Ordinance to Approve the Sale of Nine Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars of Refunding BOnds Provided for in the ordinance adopted by the City Co~cil on November !4th~ 19~0~ and Fixingthe Rate of Interest for Said BQnds'~ which was placed on its first reading on December 2nd - An Ordinance entitled 'An Ordinance to Approve the Sale of SiX Hundred and ~enty-Five Thousand Dollars of Improvement Bonds Provided for ih~the Ordinance Adopted by tb~ City Co~cil on Novembe~ l~th~ 19~0~ ~ud Fixing the Rate of inter- est for Said Bonds' - placed on its first reading on December 3rd - The question of placing a tax on the sale of cigarettes. ~ny other matters which may come before the Council.
