<br /> "As an outgrowth of the Portamou.th Chamber of Commerce request to the Planning Com-
<br />mission-~ rezone approximately five (5) acres of land helongmng to the Seaboar~ Air Line Railroad, edjacont to
<br />the Dale Homes area and off Col-m~us Avenue, protest was registered ~y the citizens in the vme~inity, at a meeting
<br />with the writer.
<br /> After a thorough discussion of the matter, the opinion prevailed that there
<br />wauld Be no odors from the plant proposed ~o be erected, er no objections from the great majority of the citi-
<br />zens present. Ne have been advised that a protest will be made by these citizens tonight, Tuesday, July 8th,
<br />in the Council Chamber. ~e have Been f~rther advised that the protestants will be represented by an Attorney.
