<br /> The following notice of zoning changes was read:

<br /> found no change in the application and abides with the former recommendation to deny.
<br /> 2. McLean Hanbury Pontiac Corpn. to rezone lo~ 4t and portions of lots 40 and 42,
<br /> beginning 165 feet west from Elm Ave., fronting 70 feet on the north side of Queen
<br /> St., by ll3 feet deep, from Multiple Family Class 'D' to Commercial Class 'G', be
<br /> approved.
<br /> 3. Clara S. Hunter to rezone portions of lots 14-16-15-20-22 and 24, block ll3
<br /> beginning 0 feet north from Henry St., fronting 75 feet on the east side of Airline
<br /> Boulevard, then east 136 feet, then south 50 feet, then west 180 feet along the
<br /> north side of Henry St., to the point of beginning from Two Family, Class 'C' to Com-
<br /> mercial Class 'F', be denied.

<br /> 1. Motion of ~ir. Lawrence that the application of Paul O. Perry which had been denied
<br />by the Planning Commission, be approved by the Council, was adopted.
<br /> 2. Motion of Mr. Wilson ~o concur in the recommendation of the Planning Commission on
<br />application of McLean Hanbury Pontiac Corporation was adopted.
<br /> S. Motion of ~r. Houghton to concur in the recommendation of the Planning Commission
<br />on the application of Clara S. Hunter. was adopted.
<br /> 4. Motion of Mr. Houghton ~o concur in the recommendation of the Planning Commission
<br />on the application of A. Amdusky, was adopted.
<br /> 5. Motion of Mr. Houghton to concur in the recommendation of the Planning Commission
<br />on the~application of Robert P. Bradley, was adopted.
<br /> ~. Motion of Mr. Hawks to concur in the recommendation of the Planning Commission on
<br /> the application of David J. Frank, was adopted.
<br /> 7. Motion of Mr. Howard to concur in the recommendation of the Planning Commission,
<br /> approving the street plan of the subdivision "Broad Manor", was adopted.

<br /> The following reports from the City Manager were read:
<br />
<br /> 1st - "I am submitting herewith copy of a letter to J. M Ha~a~4~District Engineer of
<br /> the Department of Highways, Suffolk, Virginia~ from a.D. Crute, Secondary Roads Engineer, concerning the City P~rk
<br /> Bridge. I recommend that the City approve the fifty per cent of the cost of finalqcing the sDructure and that Nor-
<br /> folk County be requested to match the funds on a 50-50 basis."
<br /> Motion of Mr. HougMton zo concur in the recommendation of the City ~nager and refer thJ
<br /> nratter to the committee appointed to confer with Norfolk County officials on the question of sharing the cost of
<br /> the City lm~rk bridge, was adopted.
