in the room used for the Juvenile and Domestic Relations hearings. <br /> WHEREAS, this results in a very unsanitary and offeRsive atmosphere as well as <br /> an ~uhealthy condition. The linoleum placed in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations <br /> hearing room by the Court has been ruined as a result of this leakage and the floor <br /> of the Juvenile room is now in a dangerous conditien due to the buckling of the wooden <br /> floor. <br />W~EREAS, the maintenance superintendent of the City of Portsalou~b has been here on <br />several occasions at the request of J.Paul Wright, and Mr. Wright has also called the <br />attention of Mr. Vass, City ~anager, to the condition of the Juvenile hearing room. <br />WHEREAS, it has been recommended that the City of Portsmouth renew the floor and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a possible solution could be go disconnect the lavatory in the men's room <br />from the jail sewer line and run a separate line to the street from the men's'lavatory. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, Be it Resolved that the Board of Supervisors of Norfolk County request <br />that the Ports~mouth City Council take the necessary steps to alleviate the conditions <br />at the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court hearing room as set forth in the above <br /> <br />A copy, <br /> <br />Teste: E.T.
