Application to rezone from 'C' Two-Family Dwelling District to 'F' <br />Local Business District. <br /> Theabove petition was previons.~lyacted favorably upon by the Planning <br />Com~$sion m~d was later referred back by the City Council for further study. <br />At a later public bearing held by the Planning Commission opposition .developed <br />to this petition which had no~ been expressed at the first hearing. Further- <br />more, the original approval by the ~anning Commission was largely based on <br />assurance by the petitioner that he would use this property for a doctor's <br />office and he has since them implied that it may be used for other purposes, <br />The specific use intended for a piece of property should not be a considera- <br />tion in rezoning, and probably will not be considered by the Planning Com - <br />mission in futUre cases. <br /> <br /> <br />
