Smith 5o refer to a budget conference was adopted. 57-111 - The £ollow~ng letter from the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Board "We wish to acknowledge receipt of your letter of February 1Sth stating that the City council o~ the C~ty of Portsmouth, at a meeting held on February 12th, went on record protesting the location o~ additi0nalABC stores in'.the City of Portsmouth, with special reference to the loc~tion at Middle and Kine Ets., in the City of POrtsmo~t~.~ We wish to ~dvise that befoMe receipt e~ your communication the Boar~ had made com- mitments relative, to th~ location at, ~e corner of Middle and K,~m~g Sts,~ its commitments in this respect. We w~sh to further state that the eMect~o~ of the next few days and that an ABC store will be established there upon completion of the building.
