At a regular meeting of the City Coumcil, held on July 14th, 1959, there were present:

<br />The meeting was opened with prayer by Mr. Walker.

<br />Minutes of the regular meeting of June 23rd, 1959 were read and approved.
<br />
<br /> 59-177 Motion of Mr. Weiseman that henceforth tape or any other voice recording device be pro -
<br />hibited in the Council Chamber, at any sessions of the Council, without the expressed consent of the Council,
<br />was adopted, and by the following vote:

<br />Nays: Baker, Breedlove, Walker

<br /> The Chair ruled that Mr. Weiseman's ~otion wzas.~ost as, according ~o the rules of the
<br />Council, a two-thirds vote would be required for it~ adoption.

<br />Mr. Bartlett appealed from the decision of the Chair's r-~ling.

<br />The Chair asked for a vote on "Shall the decision of the Chair be upheld?"

<br />The vote on the question was as follows:
