MacDonald, Jr. Corporation was taken up. On motion of Mr. Breedlove, rules were suspended to hear Attorney Richard S. Young, representing the MacDonald Corporatign. ~r. Young spoke regarding ~ec~ion 15 of the contract. 'Motion"of M~. 'Barnes to amend, section 15 0f~ the contract. ~o read as follows, was adopted, without dissenting ,vo~:. '~Secti6n 15. It is expressly understood and agreed that the Lessor reserves the right unto himself and its assigns to the free exclusive useand occupancy of the demised premises, with the e~ception of the general managerm's office and additional concession area described in Schedule 'A': (s) ior the playing of high school football games o~ ~nch Friday night during the term hereof, or on such other night or nights to which the same are postponed or reacheduled b~ proper school authorities; (b) for the playing of high school baseball games at such, t~ues as not io confli6t with league games scheduled by Lessee; (c) for the playing of any other non-professional athletic contest, not to exceed five (5) in rmimber per year, participated in or sponsored ~ by a high school of the City of Portsmouth, at such times as not to con- flict with league g~mes scheduled h~ Lessee; and (d) for the playing of not more than forty (40) Babe Ruth League Baseball games and the 1961 regional tournament of said league, such games be scheduled so a~ to no~ confl$~t with games or other events scheduled by the Lessee, o~ any resckeduling thereof., and the propg~ .maintena~qe of the playing field.
