9'8 <br /> <br /> Motion df Mr. Breedlove ~o receive and file the communication from the City Attorney, <br />was adopted, without dissenting vote. <br /> <br />On motion adjourned. <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />Approved - ~ . <br /> <br /> President. . <br /> <br /> ·The following communication from the Planning Commission was read, and on motion file~: <br /> <br /> 61-91.1 - "At its r. egnlar mo~tlk~y:meeting, on Friday, March 3, 198t, the City Planning Commis- <br />sion again considered an application (71-60) of L.M~-Stepheuson for rez~ning land On Nicholson St. (wsst side) <br />between Channing Ave. and Dahlgreu Ave. from A Single Family Dwelling District to D Multiple Family Dwelling <br />District. This application was subjected to a public hearing on. January 6th, 1961, and deferred. <br /> The iss~e~involves .density-(in terms of dwelling units per set acre), the existing <br />D zone which permits excessive population density, and the proposed zoning ordinance, which classifies, this area <br />R-75 and establishes s dsfinite control. After .thoraugh consideration of all factors involved, the Planning <br />Commission unanimously resolved Eo recommend C Two Family Dwelling District as s measure to control population <br />density while granting the-a~plicant relief, from ~srms of ASingte Family. <br /> The Planning Commission also resolved unanimously, for specific reasons set forth in <br />its resolution, ~ot to accept any further-rezoning applications until the comprehensive zoning revision under <br />current consideration is ,finalized.
