<br />Councilman Whitehurst spoke on color newsletters and requested a report on City
<br />newsletters that have featured City Departments.
<br />
<br />Councilman Moody wished the United States Navy a Happy Birthday. He also
<br />announced a town hall meeting to be held on April 18th at 6:00 p.m. at James Hurst
<br />School for Vision 2005 for Cradock.

<br />01 - 105 - Non-Agenda Speakers
<br />
<br />1. Joseph Preziotti, Jr., 527 High Street, Chairman, Clean Community Commission,
<br /> presented the Clean Community Commission Annual Report for 2000.
<br />
<br />2. Mark Geduldig-Yatrosky, 363 Middle Street, spoke on solutions for residents of
<br /> Fairwood Homes.
<br />
<br />3. Curt Maddox, 5303 Halter Lane, Norfolk, VA, complimented the City employees and
<br /> recent achievements.
<br />
<br /> Motion by Mr. Moody, and seconded by Mr. Whitehurst, to waive the rules of
<br />order to allow Ms. Gingras an additional minute to speak, and was adopted by
<br />unanimous vote.

<br />4. Debbie S. Gingras, 308 Robin Road, spoke on funding for air conditioning in
<br /> schools.
<br />
<br />5. Theresa Harrell, 52 Fox Grape Road, spoke on funding for air conditioning in
<br /> schools.
<br />
<br /> Motion by Mr. Moody, and seconded by Mr. Whitehurst, to waive the rules of
<br />order to allow Mr. Bolton a minute to speak, and was adopted by unanimous vote.

<br />6. Brandon Bolton, 1222 Tatem Avenue, spoke on air conditioning for Olive Branch
<br /> Elementary.

<br />Roy Perry-Bey, 7510 Granby Street, Norfolk, VA, Executive Director of Citizens in
<br />Hampton Roads for March Against Poverty, spoke on assistance for residents of
<br />Fairwood Homes and requested the resignation of the City Attorney and City
<br />Manager.

<br />8. Dr. Marcellus Harris, 15 Merritt Road, Newport News, VA, spoke on assistance for
<br /> residents of Fairwood Homes.
<br />
<br />9. Georgia Atkins, 1213 Jewel Avenue, spoke on funding for air conditioning in
<br /> schools.

<br />10. Fatima Brown, 238 Gleep Street, spoke on living conditions in Fairwood Homes.
