<br />Absent: John L. Dillon and L. L. Knight.
<br />The meeting was opened with prayer by Mr. Smith.

<br />THOUSAND DOLLARS OF SA2~ITATION BONDS PROVIDED IN THE ORDINANCE,
<br />ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ON FEBRUARY 8, 1966, &ND FIXING THE
<br />RATE OF INTEREST FOR SAID BONDS"

<br />"AN ORDINANCE TO APPROVE THE SALE OF ONE MILLION DOLLARS OF
<br />WATER BONDS PROVIDED IN THE ORDINANCE ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
<br />ON FEBRUARY 8, 1966, AND FIXING THE RATE OF INTEREST FOR SAID BONDS~'

<br />General Obligation Bonds, $1,S00,000 of Sanitation Bonds, and $1,000,000 of ~ater Bonds. Bids were
<br />received as follows:

<br /> On motion of Mr. Barnes, the following ordinance was approved on first
<br />reading, without dissenting vote:

<br /> 66-68 - The following letter from the City Manager was read:

<br /> "I submit the attached ordinance and recommend that it be placed on
<br />first reading.
<br /> This ordinance authorizes the condemnation of property necessary for
<br />public buildings. The land is needed for construction of a new city garage and public works building;
<br />the former building having been taken by the Weaver Urban Renewal Project."
