~ecember 27~ 1966 66-318 - Motion of Mr. Barnes to go into the election of three members of the Portsmouth Library Board, was ~dopted. Mr. Johnson nominated Mrs. David D. Green, T. J. Lawrence and F. H. Wright. On motion of Mr. Bastes, nominations were closed. Vote heine taken, Mrs. Green, MM. Lawrence, and Mr. Wright were elected members of the Portsmouth Library Board for three year terms, expiring December 1st, 1969, ~ithout dias&nting vote. 66-519 - Motion of Mr. Barnes that the question of filling the vacancy created by the resignation of Mr. Siegle, on the Coast Guard Lightship Museum Board, remain in conference, was adopted, without ~issenting ~ute. 66-320 - Motion of Mr. Bastes to go i~o the election of a member of the Portsmouth Supplemental Retirement Board, was adopted. Mr. Bmstes nominated J. P. Stephenson. On motion of Mr. Barn~s, nominations were closed. Vote being taken, Mr. Stephenson was unanimously elected %o the Portsmouth Supplemental Retirement Board for a term of four years, ending September 30, 1970. 66-521 - Motion of Mr. Barnes to go into the election of a Chairman of the Portsmouth Supplemental Retirement Board, was adopted. Mr. Barnes nominated R. B. Hawks.. On motion of Mr. Bastes, nominations were closed. Vote being taken, Mr. Hawks was unanimously elected Chairman of the Portsmouth Supplemental Retirement Board. 66-522 - Mr. Knight made a motion, which had no second~ ~nd~w~::lo~t, :%9 go in~o~ the election of a member to Portsmouth Area-wide Co-operation Committee, to succeed Mr. Spong, re- signed.
