This ordinance amends the ~ee charged for the use of th~ armory.
I am requestimg that the charges for commercial ventures b~ increased from $200
to $350. Also, that the fee be increased from $1~0 to $200 for non-profit organ~za~i~n?~when
admission fees are charged.
It is'felt that ,it is nece~pary to increase these fees due to the~wear and tear
which the armory'is receiving. Also, the majority offthese e~ents are being held on weekends. This
necessitates the City paying overtime for the cleaning of the armory, as it is also necessary for
the National Guard to use the armory on %.~ekends.
We have investigated the charges~on similar facilities in the area and find that
the above charges are not out of ~iqe."
