<br />$1,600,000 in ~gater Bonds, dated Dece~oer 1, 1969, and bearing interest at a rate of 6%
<br />per ~nnum. ~lese bonds are for i~rovements, extensions and additions to the system of

<br />$1,000,000 in Utility Bonds, dated Decembe~rl, 1969, mhd bearing interest at a rate of
<br />6% Der annum. These funds will be used to make improvements, extensions and additions to
<br />the sewer system 8md sewage disposal system of the City of Portsmouth.

<br /> The sale of these bonds has been negotiated by The Fidelity National Bank of Lynchburg and the Bank of
<br />Virginia with a net interest rate of 5.9983. The bonds will be issued for a period of twelve (12) years."
