Meyer w~s genuinely concerned about the development of the City of Portsmouth and be- <br />lieved in ex?teasing his concern in action; an4 <br /> <br /> ~fHBREAS, the said Nathan E. Meyer had been active in the various affairs of this com3nunity for many <br />years; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, he had been a valuable and faithful member of ~he Portsmouth Tax Study ~om~ission. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, that the sympathy of this body <br />acting for the citizens of the City be and hereby is extended to the facility of the late Nathan E..Meyer. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be presented by the Mayor to, the family of the <br />deceased." <br /> <br /> 69-415 - Motion of Mr. Holley that the fire plug which is inside a fence on property opposite the <br />Riddick Weaver School be moved outside the fence was adopted, without dissenting vote. <br /> <br /> 69-416 - Motion of Mr. Holley to refer to the City Manager t~he moving of one of th~ planters in 100 block <br />of High Street~ to its original position on the sidewalk, (it is now on the curb and is a hazard to mOtorists) <br />was adopted, without dissenting vote. <br /> <br />On ~otion adjourned. <br /> <br />APPROVED - <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
