M~rch 6:1970 , <br /> <br />At a special meeting of the City Council held on March 6, 1970, there were present: <br /> <br />Jack P. Barnes, George D. Eastes, Burrell R, Johnson, Isaac W. King, R.. Irvine Smith, Raymond Turner, <br />A. P. Johnson, gr., City Manager, and. M.. A. Korb, Jr., City. Attorney. <br /> <br />70-93 - The following letter from Councilman James ~. Holley was read: <br /> <br /> "During the period beginning at noon on March 6, 1970, and continuing through March 10, 1970, it will <br />be necessary for me to be absent from the City. Therefore, I will not be able to attend any special called <br />~etings of the City Council should such meetings be necessary during that period. <br /> <br /> In order not to prevent prompt action by the City Council should the same be required RuMing that <br />period, I hereby ex?ressly waive the giving of notice to me of all special called meetings and items to be <br />acted upon at such meetings during the period specified above." <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Eastes that the regular meeting of the Council be postponed from March 10, 1970 to <br />March 17, 1970 was adopted~ and by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Eastes, Johnson, King, Turner <br />Nays: Barnes, Smith <br /> <br />On motion adjourned. <br /> <br />AP P ROVE D - <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
