Oetohe'~ 2~: 1970 <br /> <br /> 70-479 - The question of recreational facilities for Washington Park area was mentioned by Dr. Holley. <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. Turner, rules were suspended to ~ear Corey Bell, who spoke, asking that something be <br />done. about the playground. <br /> <br /> The City Manager stated ihat the area referred to is one of the parks to be developed in the grant for <br />parks and cities. <br /> <br /> Mr. Holley asked that the matter be investigated by the City Manager. <br /> <br /> 70-480 - Motion of Mr. Turner that the City seek some means to have warning signs plaeed where the N ~ W <br />tracks cross Cavalier Boulevard, was adopted, without dissenting vote. <br /> <br /> 70-481 - Motion of Mr. Johnson that an ordinance be drawn making Cumberland Street a one-way street <br />south, from High to King, with two-hour parking on both sides, was adopted, without dissenting vote. <br /> <br /> 70-482 - Motion of;.~r. Johmson that the area from Lincoln Street to ~'ythe Street (north-south) and <br />Fourth Street to the wateMfront Ceast-west) be given consideration by the Planning Commission for industrial <br />zoning, was adopted, without dissenting vote. <br /> <br />On motion adjourned. <br /> <br />APPROVED - <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
