The substitute <br />to concur~with the recommendation of the Planning <br /> <br /> Juna 14~ 1971 zoning ordinance ~ ~ <br />Walker spoke in opposition of/pertaining to minimum side yards ~ - <br /> <br />Mr. Johnson and seconded by Mr. Raymond Smith the following ordinance be <br /> a comparisen of the now <br /> motion carried over a motio~ <br /> Commission by the following <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, I961, BY <br />AMENDING SECTION S-? THEREOF, PERTAINING TO MINIMUM SIDE YA'RDS." <br /> <br />Ayes: Holley, Johnson, King, Irvine Smith, Raymond Smith, Turner, Barnes <br />Nays: None <br /> <br /> 71-249 On motion of Mr. Raymond Smith and seconded by Mr. Johnson, the following <br />ordinance was placed on first reading, and by the following vote: <br /> <br />"AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS NECESSARY FOR OPERATION OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT <br />FOR AND DURING THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, I971, AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1972." <br /> <br />Ayes: Johnson, King, Irvine Smith, Raymond Smith, Barnes <br />Nays: Holley & Turner <br /> <br /> 71-274 Mr. <br />to have furnished <br />Commission. <br /> <br />Holley requested that the City Manager make provisions for the City Council <br />them the vote rendered various matters as acted upon by the Planning <br /> <br />On motion adjourned. <br /> <br />APPROVED <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
