William Whitehurst that people <br />on Welfare and public housing be included in impact funds, was adopted by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Holley, Johnson, King, Irvine Smith, Raymond Smith, Turner, Barnes <br />Nays: None <br /> <br /> 72-166 - Motion of Mr. Johnson and seconded by Mr. Raymond Smith that the City Manager <br />request PRHA study and report back to us by May 23 on removing from the Park View Conserva- <br />tion Plan: <br /> <br />(1) Ail work in Scotts Creek Park as a park; and <br />(2) Park at end of Elm Avenue to the east of Elm Avenue <br /> property; and that clearance of all area in: <br /> <br />consisting of <br /> <br />Russell's <br /> <br /> a. West of Elm Avenue from Bay Street to the water front. <br />b. West of Elm Avenue, south of Bay Street, east of Armstrong <br /> Street to the already cleared commercial area; <br /> and that clearance are~ be turned into apartment or townhouse development <br /> area with boat ramp marina. <br /> The motion carried the following vote: (See Exhibit 72-166) <br /> <br />Ayes: Holley, Johnson, King~ Irvine Smith, Raymond Smith, Turner, Barnes <br />Nays: None <br /> <br /> 72-16~ - Motion of Mr. Raymond Smith and seconded by Mr. King, that City Council go on <br />record as supporting School Board in not releasing personal records of students to HEW, was <br />adopted by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Holley, Johnson, King, Irvine Smith; Raymond Smith, Turner, Barnes <br />Nays: None <br /> <br /> On motion of Mr. King and seconded by Mr. Raymond Smith, the meeting adjourned at <br />10:46 P.M. <br /> <br />APPROVED - <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
