Smith, Robert W. Wentz, Jr., A. <br /> City Manager and W. J. O'Brien, Jr., City Attorney. <br /> <br /> The City Attorney presiding. <br /> <br /> The meeting was opened with prayer by Mr. King. <br /> <br /> The following call for the meeting was read: <br /> 72-278 <br /> "You~a~e requested to attend a re-organizational meeting of <br />Council Chamber, at 8:00 A.M., on July 1, 1972." <br /> <br />1972, there were present: <br /> <br />Burrell R. Johnson, <br />P. Johnson, Jr., <br /> <br />the City Council, in the <br /> <br /> Secret ballot was taken for the post of Mayor for the City of Portsmouth. <br /> Votes as recorded: <br /> <br /> Jack P. Barnes - 4 <br /> E. Saunders Early <br /> <br /> Secret ballot was taken for the post of Vice-Mayor for the City of Portsmouth. <br /> Votes as recorded: <br /> <br /> Isaac W.
