<br />the approval of the expenditure of $13,201.86 for improving property at the Portsmouth Marine
<br />Terminal. These funds are to pay for paving of a parking area for the storage of imported
<br />automobiles.

<br /> This capital improvemant is to be paid from revenues generated by this particular storag
<br />lot."

<br /> On motion of Mr. King~and seconded by Mr. Smith, the request of the City Manager to be
<br />approved, was adopted by the following vote:

<br />This closes a portion of a 10-ft. alley located between Evergreen Place and Roanoke Avenue.

<br />This establishes regulations pertaining to the operation of the parks belonging to the City.
<br />

<br />covers sanita:tion and Safety regulations as well as the requirement for permits when necessary.
<br />The regulations are necessary in order that the Park Rangers can preperly administer the
<br />activities.

<br /> This ordinance has been recommended by the Parks and Recreation Commission."

<br /> On motion of Mr. Smith and seconded by Mr. King, the following ordinance was approved
<br />on first reading, and by the following vote:
<br />
<br />"AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, 1961,
<br />BY ADDING TO CHAPTER 2S THEREOF, A NEW ARTICLE V CONSISTING OF SECTIONS
<br />25-29 THROUGH 25-64, PERTAINING TO PARK REGULATIONS."
