WHEREAS, the reservation of the aforesaid easement within the closed portion of <br />said Race Street upon the said relocation will not be required by the City o.f Portsmouth, <br />Virginia. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />that upon the completion of the relocation of the aforementioned Utility lines presently <br />located within the closed portion of Race Street by Construction Associates, Incorporated <br />to the satisfaction of the City Manager, the City Manager on behalf of the City of Portsmouth <br />is directed and authorized to execute and to give unto Construction Associates, Incorporated <br />a deed of release of the interest of the City of Portsmouth in and to said reserved easement <br />within the limits of the closed portion of Race Street as may be required and the City <br />Clerk is directed and authorized to duly attest said instrument of release and attach <br />the City Seal thereto.'~ <br /> <br />Ayes: Early, Holley, Johnson, King, Smith, Wentz, Barnes <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />- UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br /> <br /> 73-45 Zoning Petition 2 72-43 Petition of Walter H.
