<br />73-4 Petition of Churchland Land Corporation

<br />Mr. P. J. Brady, Director of Public Utilities, spoke.
<br />
<br /> On motion of ~r. Johnson and seconded by Mr. King, the following resolution was
<br />adopted, and~-by %he following vote:
<br />
<br />"A RESOLUTION GRANTING A USE PERMIT FOR THE OPERATION OF A SEWAGE PUMPING
<br />STATION ON SHORELINE DRIVE NEAR REGENT DRIVE.
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, Churchland Land Corporation has made application through Director of Public
<br />Utilities P. J. Brady, pursuant to Section 4-2 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City
<br />of Portsmouth, 1961, for the granting of a use permit as hereinafter described; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the applicant and the Planning Director have done all things required
<br />to be done in connection with said application, and the Planning Commission has recommend-
<br />ed that said use permit be granted.
<br />
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia:
<br />
<br /> A. That the use for which the
<br />not adversely affect the health or
