<br /> Motion of Mr. King and seconded by Mr. Johnson, to concur in recommendation of the
<br />Planning Commission, the petition was denied by the following vote:

<br />Nays: None
<br />
<br />Zoning Petition Z 74-3 Petition of Taylor Brothers Builders, Inc.
<br />
<br /> Mr. Carl E. Bowers, Agent, representing Taylor Brothers Builders, Inc., spoke
<br />in favor of the petition.

<br /> Motion of Mr. Smith and seconded by Mr. King, that the f~tlowing ordinance be

<br />"AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, BY
<br />ADDING THERETO A NEW PARAGRAPH NUMBERED 40-56 PERTAINING TO ZONING AND
<br />LAND USE CONTROLS APPLICABLE TO LAND AFFECTED BY FEDERAL NOISE ABATEMENT
<br />REGULATIONS."

<br /> Motion of Mr. King and seconded by Mr. Wentz, to be referred to the City Attorney
<br />for redrafting, was adopted by unanimous vote.
