June 24, 1975 <br /> <br /> 75-262 "Consideration of an ordinance on first reading to appropriate $265,135 in the <br />Capital Improvement Fund for the purchase of school buses from Community Motor Bus Company. <br /> <br /> This appropriation was authorized in May from the General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund and <br />this appropriation was inadvertently omitted as a companion appropriation for the Capital <br />~mprovement Fund. The City Manager recommends adoption. Crump, Jr., President, Lee Ward Civic League, presented petition with <br />300 signatures and spoke~ regarding curbs, gutters and drainage in the area. (See Exhibit 75-265 <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mr. Holley, the matter to be referred to the City <br />Manager and a report be furnished, was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br />75-266 George R. Walker, 1749 Spratley Street, spoke regarding the 5-minute Gag Ru~e. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Ell~ott and seconded by Mr. Wentz, to be received as information, was adopte <br />by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> <br />
