May 25, 1999 <br /> <br /> (a) The group housing project six condominium residential units constructed in <br />accordance with the floorplans, elevations, and landscaping plan submitted to and on <br />file in the Office of Planning Services. The Director of Community Quality and Planning <br />Services may approve minor modifications to the plans <br /> <br /> (b) The heat/air conditioning units shall be screened from public view via <br />landscaping or fencing approved by the Director of Community Quality and Planning <br />Services. <br /> <br /> (c) The applicant and any successor in interest shall comply with all applicable <br />statutes, ordinances and regulations of federal, state and local governments and shall <br />obtain and maintain in effect all required permits. <br /> <br /> (d) All taxes owed on or in connection with the subject property shall be paid <br />when due. <br /> <br /> 3. EXPIRATION OF PERMIT: Unless extended as provided under Section 40- <br />115 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia (1988), the group housing use permit <br />shall expire for any portion of the approved project for which building permits have not <br />been issued if the applicant fails to apply for all building permits for the entire project <br />within one year of the adoption of this resolution. <br /> <br /> 4. REVOCATION OF PERMIT: Violation of any of the above conditions may <br />serve as grounds for revocation of the permit by the City Council." <br /> <br />99-111(d): <br /> <br />"A RESOLUTION GRANTING APPROVAL FOR A GROUP HOUSING USE PERMIT <br />(GHP-99-02) TO CONSTRUCT 28 SINGLE-FAMILY DETACHED, 26 DUPLEX, 12 <br />TRIPLEX, AND 30 APARTMENT RESIDENTIAL UNITS IN THE 900-1200 BLOCKS <br />OF SOUTH STREET. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant, Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority, <br />owner of the subject property, has made application pursuant to Section 40-112 of the <br />Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia (1988), as amended, for the approval and <br />granting of a group housing permit to construct 28 single-family detached, 26 duplex, 12 <br />triplex, and 30 apartment residential units in the 900-1200 blocks of South Street, <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, more particularly described as follows: <br /> <br />GHP-99-02 <br /> <br /> Beginning at the southwestern intersection of Pines <br />Crescent (formerly Thomas Circle) and South Street, thence <br />south approximately 127 feet along the western right-of-way <br />line of Pines Crescent to a point; thence west approximately <br />85 feet to a point; thence southwest approximately 27 feet to a <br />point; thence west approximately 105 feet to a point; thence <br />southwest approximately 37 feet to a point; thence north <br />approximately 100 feet along the eastern right-of-way line of <br />Apple Street to a point; thence east approximately 242 feet <br />along the southern right-of-way line of South Street to the <br />point of beginning. <br /> Beginning at the southwestern intersection of Apple <br />Street and South Street thence south approximately 117 feet <br />along the western right-of-way line of Apple Street to a point; <br />thence southwest approximately 15 feet to a point; thence <br />west approximately 70 feet to a point; thence southwest <br />approximately 25 feet to a point; thence west approximately <br />105 feet to a point; thence southwest approximately 35 feet to <br />a point; thence north approximately 92 feet along the eastern <br />right-of-way line of Pines Crescent to a point; thence east <br />approximately 240 feet along the southern right-of-way line of <br />South Street to the point of beginning. <br /> <br /> <br />
