<br />At a regular meeting of the City Cnuncil, held on May 11, 1976, there were present:
<br />
<br />Richard J. Davis, Jack P. Barnes, Archie Elliott, Jr., James W. Holley, Edward
<br />east, Jr., Robert W. Wentz, Jr., R. T. Williams, City Manager. C. H. McGinnis,
<br />Assistant City Manager, Gordon B. Tayloe, Jr., City Attorney.
<br />
<br />Absent: E. Saunders Early, Jr.
<br />
<br /> In accordance with resolution adopted on April 27, 1976, the meeting was held in the
<br />T. A. Willett Auditorium, Woodrow Wilson High School, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
<br />
<br /> The Rev. Ralph Rowley, Pastor, Indiana United Methodist Church, opened the meeting with
<br />prayer, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
<br />
<br />Mayor Davis welcomed all visitors in attendance.
<br />
<br /> Motion of Mr. Wentz and seconded by Mr. Elliott, the minutes of the regular meeting of
<br />ApFil 27, 1976, to be approved as received, was~adopted by unanimous vote.

<br /> 76-156 The following ordinance approved nn first reading at the regular meeting of
<br />April~ 27, 1976, was taken up and read:
<br />
<br />"AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $~,431,000 FROM THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FUND FOR
<br />THE 1976 COMD~dNITY+DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM PREVIOUSLY APPROVED BY CITY COUNCIL."
<br />
<br /> On motion of Mr. Wentz and seconded by Mr. Elliott, the ordinance was adopted, and by
<br />the following vote:

<br />Nays: None
<br />

<br />"AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $662,231 FROM THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR THE
<br />CITY'S ONE-THIRD COM~{ITMENT TO THE EFFIN~HAM PROJECT FOR FISCAl YEARS 1976 AND
<br />1977"
