September 7, 1976 <br /> <br /> At a called meeting of the City Council held at 7:30 p.m., on September 7, 1976, there <br />were present: <br /> <br />Richard J. Davis, E. Saunders Early, Jr., Archie Elliott,~-r., James W. Holley, <br />Edward L. Oast, Jr., Robert W. Wentz, Jr., R. T. Williams, City Manager, <br />Gordon B. Tayloe, Jr., City Attorney. <br /> <br />Absent: Jack P. Barnes <br /> <br />The following call for the meeting was read: <br /> <br /> "Please attend a called meeting of the City Council to be held in the Council Chamber, <br />at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 7, 1976, to consider a motion to hold an executive session <br />with the Commissioners of the Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority to discuss the <br />following: <br /> <br />USE OF PUBLIC PROPERTY <br /> <br />(1) Waterfront Development <br />(2) Urban Renewal <br /> <br />By order of the Mayor." <br /> <br /> 76-363 - Motion of Mr. Wentz and seconded by Mr. Elliott, that the resolution to be <br />amended to inclUde (3) Renovation of Courthouse and Fine Arts Center, and was adopted by <br />the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Early, Elliott, Holley, Oast, Wentz, Davis <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />On motion adjourned. <br /> <br />APPROVED <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
