c <br /> <br />December 22, 1976 <br /> <br /> At a called meeting of the City Council held at 7:30 p.m. on December 22, 1976, there <br />were present: <br /> <br />Richard J. <br />Edward L. <br />Attorney. <br /> <br />Davis, Jack P. Barnes, E. Saunders Early, Jr. Archie Elliott, Jr., <br />Oast, Jr., R. T. Williams, City Manager, Gordon B. Tayloe, Jr., City <br /> <br />Absent: James W. Holley, Robert W. Wentz, Jr. <br /> <br />The following call for the meeting was read: <br /> <br /> "Please attend a called meeting of the City Council to be held in the Council Chamber, <br />at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 22, 1976, to consider an appropriation from the Capital <br />Improvement Fund for drainage in Mt. Hermon and to award low bid. <br /> <br />By order of the Mayor." <br /> <br /> 76-523 On motion Of Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mr. Early, the following o~dinance was <br />approved on first reading, and by unanimous vote: <br /> <br />"KN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE~540,550 00 FROM THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND <br />FOR CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF DRAINAGE, STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS <br />IN MT. HEPJvION." <br /> <br /> Motion Of Mr. <br />Corporation in the <br />unanimous vote. <br /> <br />Oast and seconded by Mr. Elliott, to award contract to Vico Construction <br />amount of $462,920.59, being lowest responsible bidder, was adopted by <br /> <br />On motion adjourned. <br /> <br />APPROVED - <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
